Egyptian police searching for those behind last week's attacks in the Sinai peninsula killed three suspects on Monday, security sources in Sinai said. According to Reuters, a police officer also died in the clashes with the suspects in a mountainous area of northern Sinai.
Egyptian forces on Sunday shot dead another three suspects. The authorities identified one of those as the mastermind of the attacks.
