Filipinos in Bahrain to Get More Home-Grown Entertainment
Manny Viray, managing partner of JS Entertainment Production in the Philippines, has come to Bahrain to develop the entertainment offering for Filipinos living in the Gulf, according to the Bahrain Tribune.
Viray intends to bring Filipino artists to the region and to plan the Filipino cultural show in June (National Day). Additionally, he wishes to promote Philippine's national hero, Jose Rizal's new film. He has stated that Bahrain is the cultural center of the Gulf making it the prime place to target the large Filipino population, especially the youth that attend the Philippine School.
