Former president: Iran should remain vigilant
Former Iranian president and Head of the Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani on Thursday said that officials and nation should remain vigilant and preserve national interest.
"The defeated enemies have returned to the region once again," he stated adding that they have established a military base near Iran posing threat against the nation. "The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has absolute supervision over enemies' moves," Rafsanjani mentioned, according to IRNA.
Pointing to enemies' "psychological warfare" and imposition of sanctions against the Iranian nation, Rafsanjani said they make allegations against Iran and accuse Tehran of manufacturing atomic bombs while Iran will never pursue such weapons.
