FSA denies involvement in Beirut rocket attacks

The Free Syrian Army chief of staff denied that his organisation had any involvement in the rocket attacks that struck southern Beirut on Sunday morning, Al Arabiya reported.
Speaking on the television channel, Salam Idris said that Hezbollah and the Syrian regime are responsible for the eruption of violence in Lebanon.
Two Grad rockets landed in the southern area of Beirut, a Hezbollah stronghold, on Sunday morning causing at least five injuries. The attacks comes after Hezbollah militants stepped up their involvement in the Syrian conflict, with thousands involved battling FSA fighters in the strategic town of Qusayr, near the Lebanese border.

The readers and viewers who have been following Syrian news centering on the Free Syrian Army's FSA's intent and activities for leading Syria's citizens to a better life by taking down the stronghold of Assad and his regime, would know without a doubt that the FSA would not be the culprit in the Beirut bombings. Their target and principles of what they are doing center on Syria and protecting her people, culture, and land. It is absurd to think they would deliberately behave in this manner. What purpose would it serve? The Hezbollah, the Al-Nusra, and the other terrorist group now involved in the Syrian conflict have much more to gain in this behavior. Anything they can do to block or deter the good that the FSA is trying to accomplish would be their mission and has already been published online. The support to the FSA's cause right now is vital! If Russia cares about Syria, they should support the FSA and not Assad.
