Injazat Data Systems announces collaboration with Northrop Grumman on high-technology programs
Injazat Data Systems, one of the Middle East's leading information technology and business process managed services providers, has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with US-based global security company Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) to collaborate on a variety of high-technology programs and initiatives in support of the United Arab Emirates economic development strategy. This agreement is expected to influence the creation of numerous defense-related jobs in the UAE.
The MoA was signed at the ninth International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) by Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, Chief Executive Officer of Injazat Data Systems; and John W. Brooks, Vice President of International Business Development for Northrop Grumman and President of Northrop Grumman International Inc.
“The MoA reflects our mutual interest to explore ways in which we can collaborate and take advantage of the technologically advanced opportunities in the United Arab Emirates and abroad. Moreover, this agreement further underscores Injazat’s desire to select partners of global standing to achieve the economic diversification mandate of the Abu Dhabi Government,” said Lari.

Injazat Data Systems is an Abu Dhabi-based joint venture between Mubadala Development Company (Mubadala); and Electronic Data Systems (EDS), an HP company and a global IT and business managed services company. Injazat Defence Services is a newly formed subsidiary of Injazat Data Systems that focuses on the local defence and security sectors.
