Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Sunday there is no Al-Qaeda-linked Saudi suspects inside Iran. Hosseini made the remark when asked about Iran's response to a call made by the Saudi interior minister for handing over Saudi nationals wanted by the Riyadh government and whether any member of al-Qaeda has been arrested in Iran.

"Security cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia is still continuing. The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to promote security cooperation with Saudi Arabia," the Iranian official said, according to Irna.

Meanwhile, Hosseini said Sunday that talks with US on detained Iranian diplomats in Iraq is not currently on agenda. Hosseini answered a question whether Iran had conditioned continuation of talks on release of its five diplomats arrested in Iraqi city of Erbil in January.
