Khamenei to presidential candidates: Don't please enemies

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that the enemies of Iran never accept dignity and pride of Islam and Islamic values and therefore all officials as well as presidential candidates should exercise vigilance not to please the enemies through improper remarks, he said. Iran will hold presidential elections next month.

 

According to IRNA, he said all Iranian nation as well as officials should be proud of Islam and Islamic values as the resistance and strength of the Iranian nation are indebted to Islam. "You should seek the God’s consent which is manifested in Islamic teachings," said the Iranian leader.
