A suicide bombing attack killed at least seven Iraqis and injured seven others in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Thursday. The attack targeted anti-al Qaeda militia members queuing to collect their wages, the army said, according to Reuters.
Elsewhere, another suicide bomber attacked a crowded market in the south Baghdad district of Doura, killing 12 people and injuring 25 others, police said, adding that three American troops also died.
This attack came one day after a car bombing killed 40 civilians and injured 82 others in northwest Baghdad's Shula quarter late on Wednesday.
