Once more police surround human rights group
On the morning of Sunday January 16, police surrounded the headquarters of the human rights group CNLT in Abou Dhabi street of Tunis, the Tunisian capital, according to the Tunisian human rights website Tunezine. The meeting was supposed to be the general assembly. The organization has been harassed by police several times before.
Human rights representatives have protested the move, calling on the Tunisian authorities to allow free meeting for the group. There has been no official reaction from the Tunisian government.
