In the past 24 hours: 6 Palestinians killed in Israeli raids
The death toll in the Gaza Strip during the last 24 hours increased to six, while more than 25 Palestinians were wounded, as a result of Israeli air strikes.
Palestinian medical sources conveyed that 20 Palestininans, including 7 children and four women, were wounded in an air strike targeted a sports club in Beit Lahiya, north of the Strip. They described the condition of the wounded between severe and moderate.
On Wednesday evening, an activist of the Al-Quds Brigades the armed wing of Islamic Jihad died and another wounded in an air raid carried out by Israeli aircraft on in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in the central Gaza Strip. Earlier, al-Quds Brigades fired five Grad missiles into south Israel in response to the death of one of their activists. The Brigades of the Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa, the military wing of the Popular Front claimed responsibility for the rocket fire on the Israeli towns of Beersheba and Netivot.
For their part, Israeli sources said that the exchange of fire continued in the south during the night hours. A total of four missiles landed in open areas in the region of Beersheba, and two rockets landed in the town of "Sderot".
The sources claimed that Israeli warplanes targeted a warehouse used to store the weapons in the northern Gaza Strip, which led to the killing of two people and injuring of about 20 others.
