Thomas Klein International is awarded the third contract by Epicure to develop a new restaurant concept in Kuwait
Epicure, the culinary division of The Sultan Group, has awarded Thomas Klein International the contract to develop a new restaurant under its Bistro 86 concept; the third time the two companies will work together.
Epicure already operates a popular Bistro 86 in The Avenues in Kuwait, and the new concept will be applied to the second Bistro 86 restaurant due to open soon in Quibla in Kuwait.
"The current concept of Bistro 86 offers diners excellent quality bistro-style food, in very smart, yet relaxed and comfortable surroundings," said Ahmed Al Bader, Director and Co-founder of Epicure, the food and beverage division of The Sultan Group.
"The existing outlet has been very successful so far, but we want to make sure the concept stays relevant and fresh. We do not want the Bistro 86 concept to become outdated, and therefore we are adding a twist to the overall concept in the new location, which will add that extra element of appeal to the new generation," added Badar.
"So far we have already completed two other design projects with Thomas Klein International, and we definitely feel that they are the right partners to work with us on this project."
Daniel During, the Managing Partner of Thomas Klein International said, " The new Bistro 86 wil be a bar rather than a bistro, and we are looking to create an ambience which is far more intimate, and more daring than the original concept."
"We don't want to reveal too much about the design at this stage, but we believe that the new concept will be quite revolutionary for Kuwait," he added.
Thomas Klein International has worked with Epicure to produce the region's first vertical farming restaurant concept in Prime and Toast, and also conceptualized and developed the soon to open Butcher's Den restaurant in Kuwait.
