The  22 rising football talent in the GCC representing the winners of the Pepsi Street Football Challenge have enrolled in the world renowned Euro Camp, part of the Chelsea Club in England  for a fun-filled month long training exercise by Chelsea trainers.

PepsiCo International, the leading and favored soft drink brand in the Middle East, launched the first-of-its-kind program to foster a new generation of GCC football stars, endorsed by the respective Football Federations in the gulf. The GCC team will be trained by the very best coaches from Chelsea Football Club in a variety of sports facilities around London. This will include a series of cultural trips in addition to football-filled activities to encourage physical fitness and develop world-view mindsets, ultimately augmenting their entire experience with the aim of learning new techniques and skills that will enhance their agility and improve their football capabilities.

Ken Newell, GCC Business Unit General Manager at PepsiCo International, expressed, “Pepsi hopes to continue to contribute to the development of young soccer stars in the GCC by introducing innovative programs that monitor their advancement in the sport as they grow to become players that could one day dominate international soccer.” Newell added that this program aims to enhance the inherent talent and performance of GCC youth whom aspire to turn this sport into a real-life profession, “We hope the winners enrolled into the program at Chelsea Football Club will become the future football stars of their nations and role models to their peers.” 
The ‘Pepsi Street Football Challenge’ is a unique program that harnesses PepsiCo International’s unwavering commitment to contributing to the development of the next generation of national football professionals, providing an opportunity for the youth to further develop their skills and dexterity.

The twenty-two lucky winners from the GCC are: Faisal Al Sultan, Aymen Al Masrahi, Abdullah Al Subaiey, Majed Omar Ali, Khaled Fallatah, Nizar Darwish, Hassan Alshehri, Fahad Al Muwallad, Yahya Rawas and Ali Alshehri from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Saud Al Farsi, Husni Al Hinai, Salem Al Busaidi, Abdullah Al Hinai and Nidal Al Khazini from the Sultanate of Oman; Mohammad Al Qabandi From Kuwait and Sayed Hashim, Ali Alasfoor, Hamad Al-Ruaai, Mubarak Saad and Salman Saeedan from the Kingdom of Bahrain.
