US Jets Hit Iraqi Targets in No-Fly Zone
US jets bombed military sites in Iraq Tuesday in response to artillery fire by Iraqi gunners, the Associated Press reported, quoting US military official.
He said that US warplanes struck Iraqi military sites near Bashiqah, 250 miles north of Baghdad, after Iraqi forces targeted the aircraft.
On Monday, Iraq said that two civilians were killed in bombings by US and British warplanes over northern Iraq, AP said.
