Yemen to Host Conference on Child Issues
A national conference on childhood began Monday its two-day meetings in Sanaa to help concerned government apparatus and NGOs draw up priorities regarding child issues, reported the official Yemeni news agency, Saba.
Some 250 participants from various concerned ministries and organizations will discuss five working papers on the situation of Yemen's children in order to draft a platform and future trends for dealing with child-related matters.
The conference aims also at preparing for the UN special session on child, which is due to be held in New York next September, said the agency – Albawaba.com
