Yemeni government asks Norway to hand over detained suspect
The Yemeni government has sent an official request to the Norwegian authorities through the Interpol to hand over a Jordanian national wanted by the Yemeni authorities, it was revealed Wednesday.
Almotamar.net web site, run by the GPC party, said that the Norwegian authorities had arrested the suspect last week acting on intelligence, indicating he was planning sabotage in Yemen.
The man had escaped from Yemen to Libya and then to Cuba.
The suspect, whose name was not given, had also engaged in several swindling acts in Yemen.
