Shireen Abd Al Wahab dreams of international stardom
Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab stated that she dreams of reaching international stardom and she is in every way as good as other Arab singers that were successful in reaching international stardom. Shireen added that she benefitted tremendously from prominent Algerian actress Warda.
Shireen’s infatuation with Warda comes from the fact that she considers her to be a singer with so much talent that when she, Warda, stands on stage she mesmerizes her audience.
The singer also said that she dreams of working with an international production company that cares for singers and gives them the opportunity to become well-known stars.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Shireen noted that it is unfair to compare Egyptian singers Amro Diab and Tamer Husni simply because each singer has his own unique star. In addition, Amro has been in the music industry for decades and Tamer is considered to have entered the music world recently. She also said that she cannot compare herself to Moroccan singer Sameera Saeed, Egyptian singer Angham and Syrian singer Asalah Nasri for the same reason.
Shireen asserted that her acting experience with Egyptian comedian actor Ahmad Hilmi in the film “Medo Mashakil” was not up to her standards and added nothing to her career. She added that currently she is in no rush to act and if she considers acting again she wants to be sure that the film she stars in will add to her career.
