His jazz-infused soundtrack for The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) mixes several performances by Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, and Dizzy Gillespie with Yared’s Oscar-nominated score. He’s won a Grammy, an Oscar, and three BAFTAs!
