ADPC signs MoU with JadeWeserPort Logistics Zone in Germany

Abu Dhabi Ports Company announced an MoU signing with JadeWaserPort Logistics Zone that encompasses the cooperation between the UAE and Germany. This includes the activities concerning specific industries, Aluminium, Engineered Metals, Steel, Chemical and Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and education as well as marketing/ distribution each in connection with the industries involved. The Parties will support each other whenever possible.
Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Khaled Salmeen, Executive Vice President of Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) said, “We are delighted to be in Hannover today and joined by JadeWeserPort and Jörg Bote, the Under Secretary for Lower Saxony. This agreement signifies the beginning of what promises to be a very prosperous relationship between us.“
His Excellency Mohammed Omar Abdullah, Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development Undersecretary said: “This is a significant partnership for Abu Dhabi and the UAE and covers a number of sectors that are very important to the economic diversification of the emirate, through the strategic Vision 2030.“

Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) is a master developer and regulator of ports and industrial zones. The objective of ADPC is to act as an enabler for development and trade and facilitate its contribution to the diversification of the national economy. In doing so, it will provide its customers and stakeholders with the highest levels of service in a responsive and transparent manner.
ADPC was established in March 2006 by Emiri Decree No. 6 of 2006 in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as part of the restructuring of the commercial ports sector in the Emirate and was given control and regulatory enforcement power over all commercial ports assets previously owned by the Abu Dhabi Seaports Authority (ADSA).
