Palestine Fashion Week is getting a very special guest of honor this May: Prominant Turkish actress - and one of the Arab world’s fave TV babes - Beren Saat.
Beren will be heading to Ramallah, Palestine’s cultural capital, to take part in the annual 3-day fashion event.
The actress’s fans were thrilled to hear the news and are itching to see her in person in Ramallah this May.
Palestine Fashion Week originally kicked off last year by “Layalina” ('Our Nights') Magazine.
“Layalina ('Our Nights')Magazine cares about fashion and modeling and we noticed that there is a larger demand lately, so we thought of organizing a national annual event,” Summer Husain, the magazine’s Palestinian-American managing editor said.
This year, “Modelicious” modelling agency is taking on the task and are currently putting the final touches on preparations for the fashion-focused event.
Tamer Halabi, Modelicious’ Managing Director, said that this year’s show is going to be different from last year’s one. “The Palestinian dress will be prominent in this year’s show. Some of the profits will go to those in need in Palestine,” Halabi happily announced.
