ذكر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، أن الولايات المتحدة "لن تدفع شيئا" لتركيا من أجل إطلاق سراح القس الأمريكي أندرو برانسون، الذي وصفه بأنه "رهينة وطني عظيم".
وقال على تويتر: "لن ندفع شئيا من أجل إطلاق سراح رجل بريء، لكننا سنخنق تركيا".
