Arab Bank receives Best Bank in Jordan for 4th consecutive year
Arab Bank was recognized by the international finance magazine, Euromoney, as the “Best Bank in Jordan” at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2011 Middle East Dinner, held in Dubai, UAE recently. The ceremony was attended by leading bankers, media representatives and members of the awards jury, which comprised financial industry experts and consultants.
Euromoney praised the Bank’s strong financial performance and the leading role it plays in the banking industry in the Kingdom. Euromoney decides the winners by studying comprehensive quantitative and qualitative factors such as KPI’s, financial ratios and innovation over the 12 month period.
Commenting on winning the award, Arab Bank's CEO, Mr. Nemeh Sabbagh, said “This award reflects Arab Bank’s continuous progress in further strengthening its financial position in terms of capitalization and liquidity, improving customer service and deploying innovative financial products.”
Ms. Dina Shoman, Executive Vice President of Branding at Arab Bank who attended the awards ceremony commented, “This is the fourth consecutive year that Arab Bank receives this important recognition.” Ms. Shoman further explained, “While the banking industry in Jordan is developing and becoming a more competitive environment, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide the best services for our clients and maintain our strong financial position for our shareholders.”
