Barclays Wealth appoints Anne Grim into new Head of Global Client Services role

To support its often stated ambition to break the mould of wealth management, Barclays Wealth, a leading global wealth manager, has today announced the appointment of Anne Grim as a Managing Director, Head of Global Client Services. This is a new role, created to spearhead the firm's declared intent to put the client, and client needs, at the heart of the business.

Ms Grim will take responsibility for delivering client service excellence at every point of contact and across all delivery channels of the organization. Day-to-day, she will take control of all contact centre operations; service recovery teams; and be working closely with all private bankers, investment representatives and relationship managers to achieve distinction through the levels of service experienced by the firm's clients. Ms Grim will report into the Barclays Wealth Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Tinney, who comments:

Ms Grim has over 20 years experience in client service disciplines, covering areas such as multi-channel strategies; client service programme design and implementation; client segmentation; and information management. She joins from Wells Fargo Financial, where she was Executive Vice President and Divisional Marketing, eBusiness and Strategic Partnership Leader. Prior to this, Ms Grim held senior positions within American Express and Mastercard International.
