”Start” at Saiydat Island

Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority has received bids from international advisors for a
contract regarding the accomplishment of the whole infrastructure in "Start" project, which covers the development of Saiydat Island, reported the Emirate newspaper, Al-Bayan on April 3, 2005. The infrastructure works will include preparation of the site, digging works, roads, bridges, water and electricity networks, and construction of railway line to connect the island with the main land. Construction works at the tourist-recreational island are expected to last 25 months.
