Statistics compiled jointly by the Omani Ministry of National Economy and Ministry of Tourism, indicated that a total of 199,762 tourists arrived in Dhofar Governorate during the period from 21st June to 27th August.
This figure includes 122,708 visitors from within the Sultanate and 73,804 arrivals from the AGCC states.
According to ONA, a break down of figures show that 56,433 tourists came from the UAE, 11,591 from Saudi Arabia, 2,570 from Qatar, 2,306 from Kuwait, 9,044 from Bahrain, 739 from other Arab countries and 2,511 tourists from the rest of the world. (menareport.com)
