The first phase of the $1.2 billion Durrat Al Bahrain project has been sold out, it was announced Tuesday. According to GDN, all the 390 villas offered in the luxury residential resort under construction were sold out in one day, said Durrat Khaleej Al Bahrain Company deputy general manager and chief operating officer Jassim Al Jowder.
The project, consisting of 13 islands to be developed over 20km of desert and sea, is equally owned by the Bahrain government and Kuwait Finance House (KFH) , Bahrain.
