According to preliminary figures recently published in the Egyptian Monthly Bulletin, during the months of January and February this year, 437 capital companies were established in Egypt. This figure reflects a relative decrease compared to the corresponding period of last year, in which 580 such companies were established.
Furthermore, during this period a total capital of EP3.1 billion were issued for established companies, compared to EP3.8 billion issued during the first two months of 2000. –(Albawaba-MEBG)
