Abu Dhabi City Planning Conference opens

The second edition of the Construction and Illumination Exhibition and of Abu Dhabi City Planning Conference (ADCP)  opened on April 10 and will last until April 13 by the participation of 165 local and international companies from 8 Arab and foreign countries, reported the Emirate newspaper, Al-Bayan.


The conference and exhibition are organized by the Municipalities and Agriculture Department of Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the General Exhibitions Corporation (GEC), in addition to other bodies. The general manager of GEC, Ahmad Hamid al-Mazrui, said that the exhibition and conference receive a lot of attention due to the great development of the United Arab Emirates. The real estate sector in the Gulf region in general is very active, due to commercial and tourist projects in it, while studies expect expenditures in these sectors to hit several hundreds of billions through the forthcoming years, while the number of population in the Gulf States is expected to increase to 42 million soles in 2010.
