The UAE President, Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued, in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, a law on financing commercial buildings.
According to the law, the Department for Social Services and Commercial Buildings shall assume the technical, financial and legal supervision on financing commercial buildings allocated for nationals in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
According to WAM, the law set the maximum ceiling of a commercial building loan at Dh 40 million.
