Following a six month trial period, petrol retailer ADNOC has signed with leading coffee solutions company, Coffee Planet LLC, for 50 of its “Adnoc Oasis” Convenience stores to offer self-serve gourmet coffee.
Each Coffee Planet kiosk will provide Italian-style cappuccino, espresso, café latte, Americano and hot chocolate in regular and large sizes. The announcement comes during the Gulf Food exhibition where Coffee Planet is exhibiting its portfolio of machines and coffee supplies at stand E1-10 in Hall 1.
“We are thrilled to have partnered with ADNOC. The Coffee Planet kiosks will serve premium Italian coffee for people on-the-go, offering customers the best in convenience, quality and excellent value prices,” said Matthew Yorke-Smith, Director Operations, Coffee Planet LLC.
The new deal underlines ADNOC’s commitment to providing quality products and services for its customers through its state-of-the-art “Adnoc Oasis” convenience stores.
“This partnership represents the first UAE foray into the commercial gourmet self-serve coffee market and we believe this industry is set to escalate in line with the increased demand for fast quality consumer goods across the UAE and beyond,” Yorke said.
Coffee Planet specializes in the provision of turnkey coffee solutions to all foodservice operations such as hotels, coffee shops, retail outlets, hospitals, offices, airports and universities.
It prides itself on using the highest quality Arabica beans together with only fresh milk to bring its customers the finest cup of self-service gourmet coffee available in the region.
The Coffee Planet portfolio includes the development and installation of kiosks and desktops of premium coffee brands Acorto and Fetco, together with the supply of One Shot drink flavourings and Union Coffee Roasters coffee beans.
