Global software giant Adobe Systems Incorporated’s local office is running a never-to-be-repeated summer offer in conjunction with its multi-lingual software partner, Winsoft, aimed at volume-license users of its Middle East-enabled Creative Suite software.
Until July 31st this year, Adobe is offering a 15 per cent discount on all localised volume licensing solutions across the GCC. Within this time frame, customers placing orders will receive a free upgrade to the respective Adobe CS3 Middle East –enabled products, once released. The new CS3 line-up incorporates a broad spectrum of options for print, web, mobile, interactive, film and video production.
“Our Middle East first half year revenues grew by a phenomenal 70 per cent and this would not have been possible without the support of our customers and partners across the region,” says Jacob Alex, Middle East Channel Manager, Adobe. “As our way of saying ‘thank you’ to them, we are providing Adobe users, both existing and new customers, with attractive software deals, as well as excellent upgrade options.”
The special offer includes Adobe’s Acrobat 8 Standard and Professional licenses, Creative Suite 2.0 Standard, Creative Suite 2.3 Premium licenses, all point products of CS2 ME licenses - Photoshop CS2 ME, Illustrator CS2 ME, InDesign CS2 ME, InCopy CS2 ME, all ME Upgrade licenses, ME Education license, ME Government license and ME Corporate license.
The promotion comes hard on the heels of the company’s ongoing initiative to encourage the use of genuine software and discourage piracy, which is rampant across the Middle East.
“With piracy continuing to be a serious problem, we are trying to educate consumers about the repercussions of using unauthorised software. These deals will further encourage our customers to use legitimate solutions,” adds Alex.
