Adobe launches Middle East version of Creative Suite

Adobe Systems Incorporated, the leader in network publishing, has launched the Middle East version of its award-winning Creative Suite Platform for the Design and Publishing Industry. The much awaited Middle East version of Creative Suite will have the all-important Arabic language support for design and publishing companies  

in the region, who would like to shift to this innovative software platform.  

 

The Middle East version of Creative Suite is a complete design environment that gives today's creative professionals everything they need to create and publish content to print and the Web faster, more easily, and more  

efficiently than ever. It combines enhanced Middle East versions of Adobe Photoshop CS, Adobe Illustrator CS and Adobe InDesign CS. The platform also incorporates Adobe GoLive CS, Acrobat 6.0 Professional, and the innovative  

Version Cue file version manager. 

 

Adobe Photoshop CS - Middle East Version Adobe Photoshop CS Middle East version is an enhanced version of Adobe Photoshop CS, with improved support for Arabic. The programme supports most fonts shipped with the user's Operating System, as well as a large number of third party fonts widely used by graphic designers in the Middle Eastern regions, including the Arabic XT font. The Middle East version also comes with special settings for laying out Arabic text, including setting the paragraph and character direction; a ligature option; setting vowels and positioning diacritics; possibility to use Arabic, Farsi or  

Hindi digits; and the use of kashidas for letter spacing and full justification.  

 

The software also has the Text on path feature supporting Arabic. Adobe Photoshop CSME also allows for a spell-check of the text in Arabic. For the content to web requirements, the programme has special encodings to allow it to work with Arabic language. (menareport.com)
