Sharjah-based Air Arabia will soon introduce Switzerland’s DUFRY to its passengers, an in-flight duty free service on all its routes. The service will begin in the first quarter of 2004 and passengers have the option of paying via credit card or cash.

DUFRY was founded in 1865 in Basel as a specialized retailer of luxury goods to travelers. Their products are available in more than 270 duty free and duty paid retail outlets in 32 countries over four continents.

Air Arabia is a Sharjah government-owned airline which is currently flying from Sharjah to Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Qatar and Sri Lanka. The airline is soon due to begin flights to Iran. — (menareport.com)
