Air Arabia LLC, one of the UAE’s national airlines and the first low-cost airline of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region, offers customers offers to Oman for the next three weeks to enjoy the Muscat Festival, which started this week and continues until the 18th February 2005.

Covering all aspects of culture, society, education, heritage, entertainment, tourism, sports and arts, the Festival attracts visitors from all over the region combining an exciting blend of new world progress and old world charm – it is an event where ancient heritage and contemporary styles can be experienced in harmony.

Packages from Sharjah to Muscat start from AED 640 per person and include airfare, three days and two night twin sharing accommodation with a daily buffet breakfast, exclusive of taxes and surcharges. In this package, there are eight hotels to select from during this period. Currently, Air Arabia’s daily flights depart Sharjah International Airport at 09:30am with arrival in Muscat at 10:20am local time - giving passengers plenty of time to enjoy all that Muscat has to offer during the day.

“These packages from Air Arabia give customers amazing travel opportunities to Oman during the Muscat Festival and allow more and more people the chance to take some time off to travel, relax and simply get away from it all!” said Shalini Rajan, Air Arabia’s UAE Sales Manager. She added: “As a low-cost airline, we are able to pass more savings back to passengers by offering the lowest fares throughout the region and now these savings are reflected in some of the best value for money travel packages available. For this low price, visitors during the Festival can enjoy poetry recitals, Omani theatre shows, sword fighting and motorbike races to name but a few of the many exciting events taking place during that time.”

The addition of Air Arabia’s fifth aircraft earlier this week will enable the airline to increase destinations and frequency throughout the region. Air Arabia customers can also relax with the latest in customer comfort with the largest seat pitch in the market – that of 34 inches – in comparison to 29 and at the most 31 inches offered on most regional airlines. Known for its wide seats, aisles and increased cabin storage, as well as its technological innovation that brings enhanced performance and reliability, the A320 also offers passengers in-flight entertainment with a selection of audio and video channels on short and long haul flights.

Air Arabia is a Sharjah government owned airline currently flying from Sharjah daily to Alexandria, Bahrain, Beirut, Colombo, Doha and Muscat; five days a week to Damascus and Kuwait; four days a week to Dammam; three days a week to Khartoum; and two days a week to Aleppo, Assiut, Jeddah, Riyadh and Sana’a.
