Ajman University of Science and Technology has launched its first technology-based education program for the university’s accounting and finance students. The program, incorporating ACCPAC Advantage SeriesO accounting software, helps build the students’ knowledge and expertise in applied technologies focused on accounting and finance.
Dr. Yahya Haddad, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University, comments: “Ajman University has a firm commitment to providing technology-based education. We believe this is a strategic approach towards building the knowledge skills necessary to meet today’s business and management challenges.”
The program will be rolled out simultaneously throughout all of the University’s campuses in Ajman, Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain, UAE. “Over 500 students will be trained on the ACCPAC Advantage Series-based program this year,” says Dr. Lilyan Gheyath, Professor of Accounting at Ajman University.
