Electronic retail store Plug-ins ElectroniX, formerly known as Plug-ins, opens a new concept store today in Sahara Mall, Sharjah. This opening is part of a strategic expansion plan that will span the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Plug-ins, an Al-Futtaim Group company, first appeared in the market in 1998.

When asked about the ‘'Select Store'' concept, Raman Pandya, managing director of Electronics for the Al-Futtaim Group said: ‘'The retail of electronics goods falls into four categories of outlets. These are Boutique stores, Select stores, Mass merchandisers and Discount stores. Examples, of which, can be seen throughout the UAE''.

‘'Following extensive market research, the Plug-ins ElectroniX Select Store concept was developed. Results of the research showed many customers are overwhelmed by the choice of electronics products available today. Customers have a huge amount of choice no matter whether it is a television, DVD player or camera, the choice of not only brand but also product, is endless. When shopping, many customers know their basic requirements but have limited knowledge of the full scope of what a product can offer and how it works''.

‘'With the new concept of the “Select Store”, Plug-ins ElectroniX sifts through the variety of brands and products for the customers. With extensive experience in the electronics industry and research in the market, we select the best cross-section of products that meet the needs and requirements of customers,'' Pandya continued.

”Through having a select line-up from various ranges of the latest electronics products, from entry level to the top end, we can focus on offering customers the exact items that fulfills their individual requirements without having countless products for them to choose from.''

With a presence in Dubai, in Deira City Center and Abu Dhabi Marina Mall, Plug-ins ElectroniX, offers a one-stop experience through its range of the world's leading audio, Video, Computer, Photographic and Software brands. — (menareport.com)
