Al-Ghurair City (AGC) recorded a 42 percent increase in footfall compared to figures from last year. Some 13,000 visitors have been heading out to Al-Ghurair City (AGC) on weekdays, rising to 16,000 on weekends, stated a press release.
The $120 million refurbishment and expansion program that was launched by the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s shopping mall in 2002 has resulted in a complete transformation of AGC, throughout the retail mall, external streetscape, and across the offices and residential area of the complex.
Since June 2002, over 16 new tenants have joined AGC, with Plug-ins, Spinneys, and Liwa Trading’s Virgin Cosmetics, Tally Weijl, La Senza Girl and La Senza Lingerie all coming on board.
AGC has also revealed a range of new facilities, including a multi-storey indoor car park that can accommodate 2,000 cars and a sky bridge that provides access to shoppers from the car park directly into the mall. — (menareport.com)
