Al-Ghurair Retail completes franchise deal with Holland’s Mexx

Al-Ghurair Retail has finalized a new partnership with Dutch-based fashion company Mexx to franchise and operate the company's retail stores across Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. The new franchise deal with Mexx adds another leading international fashion brand to the company's portfolio. 

 

Under the new arrangement Al-Ghurair will open a new Mexx store at the Marina Mall in Kuwait and existing stores at Al-Bustan Mall in Kuwait, Al-Ahli Mall in Bahrain and Landmark Mall in Doha and Al-Araimi Complex and City Center Muscat in Oman. 

 

“This region also represents the ideal location for us our XX by Mexx brand. We hope to have 22 of these stores up and running with our partners at Al Ghurair Retail by the end of 2004,” said Mexx Group Vice-President Wholesale, Adu Advaney. 

 

Al-Ghurair Retail has become one of the fastest growing retail brands in the region, introducing international brands to the region that include Salamander, Springfield and Triumph. — (menareport.com)
