Dubai-based Al Habtoor Group is investing almost US$2 billion in a real estate venture, Bahria Town, in Pakistan. According to Gulf News, the project, which involves 26 residential towers housing 2,500 apartments, lakes, boulevards, a golf facility and a shopping mall, will be developed in Phase II of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) a masterplanned development in the outskirts of Islamabad.
