Representatives of Al Saraya Properties and Ossis Property Developers announced that Phase 1 of the Amwaj Islands Al Marsa Floating City project had been completed and that some homeowners had begun to move in.
The announcement came in response to growing criticism by some homeowners that after nearly six months after the original move in date, they had yet to receive the green light to relocate to their new dream villas, according to Gulf Daily News.
Many homes in Al Marsa Floating City project are still without water and electricity, despite official assurances that homes were being connected at the beginning of last month.
"I do not have water and electricity," said one investor."They have not even handed over my house yet, they are late from March.
