Saudi al-Oula Development Company signed a contract with Osus for developing entertainment and tourist projects, according to which it will enter Bawabat al-Nujum (Stargate) project by 20%, reported the Emirate newspaper, Al-Bayan on September 20, 2005.
The contract was signed September 19 between the two companies in Grand Hayat Hotel in Dubai on the margins of Cityscape 2005 exhibition.
Bawabat al-Nujum is an advanced entertainment complex for the entire family, which will be constructed on a 280,000 square feet area in Zabeel Park in Dubai by 200 million Emirate Dirhmas ($54.4 million) costs. The project, which will be constructed in the shape of a space ship, will include ice-skating hall, lazer games, electronic and three-dimension games, children play grounds, sports facilities, and many famous restaurants, coffee shops and cloth outlets. It is expected to be complete at the end of 2006.
