Iran’s Asre Danesh Afzar (ADA) has signed the first private sector contract with Alcatel for the instillation of high-speed internet connectivity in Iran. The total value of the contract is $10 million, stated a press release.
As part of the terms of the contract the parties involved will install and support 100,000 ADSL ports over the next three years that will enable millions of users in Tehran and across the country with Internet connection.
ADA is a provider of communications and software solutions and services in Iran with major clients both in the private sector as well as the government departments. The company is privately owned and operated with over 300 personnel. — (menareport.com)
