France Development Agency (AFD) will participate with a concession loan of €50 million Euro, of which €12 million for this year, in the reconstruction program of the stricken provinces shook by May 21st 2003 earthquake, it was reported in Algiers on Wednesday. The loan agreement will be signed Friday 4th June at the seat of Boumerdes province, the epicentre of the earthquake.
The singing ceremony will be attended by Algeria's Habitat Minister, Mohamed Nadir Hamimid and on the French side by State Minister to Economy, Finance and Industry, Nicolas Sarkozy who is due to pay an official visit to Algeria on 4-5 June. (menareport.com)
