President of the Algerian National Assembly Ammar Saidani on Wednesday evening called for more investments by Iranian companies in different projects in his country. In a meeting with head of Iran's Islamic Culture and Communications Organization chief, Mahmoud Mohammadi Eraqi, he stressed that ground has been paved for investment of Iranian companies in Algeria.
According to <i>IRNA</I>, the Algerian parliament speaker further called for expansion of ties between the two countries` parliaments within the framework of the parliamentary friendship groups. He further announced that several Algerian officials will visit Iran in the near future.
Eraqi is currently in Algiers to take part in the 4th conference of Islamic culture ministers (December 15-17).
