Jordan’s AlliedSoft and its partner ProAsset System Engineering have recently concluded the delivery of a complete Process Information Management System (P-IMS), which was tested and accepted by Alstom Power in Switzerland.
P-IMS is a comprehensive Web based Information Management System that can be applied to hydropower plants, pipelines, turbines, and large manufacturing plants, to operate, monitor, control, and regulate real time processes possibly running in many geographical locations.
The main tasks of P-IMS are to provide automatic data collection, storage, archival and web based retrieval of trends, process views, and reports. The software can be configured to support single computer stand alone applications up to distributed cluster configurations to achieve high performance, reliability and availability.
