Amwaj Telecom will begin its initial operations for the residences of Amwaj Island in May by offering fixed, voice, internet and data services, a senior official of the company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ossis Property Developers, told Bahrain Tribune.
Ossis Property Developers in Bahrain is the holding group handling the reclamation and build-up of the US$ 1 billion Amwaj Islands in Bahrain. Amwaj Islands is a 3 million square meters island consisting of villas, apartments, commercial and entertainment complexes, office towers as well as hotels and service apartments.
The Amwaj Telecom will start its services in some of the residences on the island and will then further expand within and outside the Amwaj, said the Chief Executive Officer of Amwaj Telecom, Labib Matta.
