ALBAWABA - Apple is set to unveil its second set of products this season in a virtual event held on Wednesday evening. This event comes a month after the introduction of their latest iPhone series, the iPhone 15. The event begins at 8 PM Eastern Time in the United States, which is a relatively late timing for Apple events.
Some analysts believe that the decision to hold an evening event signifies that this is unlikely to be one of Apple's major announcements for the year.
Apple Silicon
The event's tagline, "Swiftly Spooky," is a clear indication of a potential reveal of the next-generation silicon chip (M3) on the eve of Halloween.

The company is expected to showcase new Mac and MacBook devices featuring powerful chipsets in a move aimed at boosting Mac sales. Mac sales have seen a decline this year due to weak demand, increased inventory, and economic challenges.
Over the past few years, Apple Silicon - the company's custom-designed chip - has emerged as a significant story for Apple, with its importance in moving away from Intel chips.
Apple can enhance performance further using the M3 chip while gaining a substantial foothold in the traditional personal computer and laptop market.
Ben Wood, Chief Analyst at CCS Insight, said, "It's a significant endorsement of the massive investments Apple has made in this area."
Wood added that Apple Silicon has stood out over the years, with overall performance in terms of processing, thermal efficiency, and battery life being "very impressive."
He continued, "There is no doubt the company is quietly gaining share from competitors in the PC manufacturing business."
In the second quarter of 2023, Apple computers accounted for approximately 8 percent of the global market share, marking a 10 percent annual growth.
Apple launched its first internal silicon chipset (M1) for its computer lineup in 2020, claiming it to be the fastest central processing unit in the world and the fastest integrated graphics in a personal computer.
Last year, Apple used the M2 chip in its MacBook devices.

It is also possible that the American tech giant will introduce new accessories as it transitions to the universal USB-C charging system.
Typically, Apple's annual event in September is the largest of the year. Last month, Apple unveiled its iPhone 15 with a sleek design, advanced main camera system, and USB-C charging.
Security Vulnerabilities
The UAE Cybersecurity Council issued a "critical warning" regarding high-risk security vulnerabilities in Google Chrome and multiple weaknesses in Apple systems, urging users to take swift action.
The council stated that the vulnerabilities in the Google browser might allow "malicious actors" to execute harmful scripts on users' operating systems.
The UAE authority strongly recommended that all users promptly update their Chrome browsers to the latest version to protect against potential threats.
Google Chrome, used by approximately 3.3 billion users, is the world's most widely used web browser across all major platforms, including desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones, holding approximately 65 percent of the global market.
the Cybersecurity Council also warned of multiple vulnerabilities in Apple that could enable attackers to take control of users' devices.
The cybersecurity authority advised, "We strongly recommend all users to promptly update their systems and software to mitigate potential threats."
