ARAMEX (DFM: ARMX), the total transportation solutions provider, today announced that it has upgraded its comprehensive trucking network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The network, which connects the company’s three main hubs in the Eastern, Central and Western regions through daily trips from and to Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah, offers a faster more effective solution for customers.

Today’s announcement revealed that ARAMEX has upgraded its already established KSA network by investing in a 12-strong fleet of 50ft vehicles. These trucks will facilitate transportation between the Kingdom’s three main hubs and ensure a timely delivery through ARAMEX’s multi-mode solution of land, sea and air freight.

Hussam Baraqouni, ARAMEX KSA’s Country Manager, said: “The aim in making these changes has been to sharpen our focus on timely delivery. The network will operate more efficiently throughout the Kingdom.”

Through on board GPRS equipment customers of the service can track their shipments from collection to delivery by logging on to the ARAMEX website (www.aramex.com) for minute-by minute updates. They can also refer to the off-line tracking reports prepared by ARAMEX teams based on the specific requirements of the clients.

Mr. Baraqouni said: “Saudi Arabia is a central part of the ARAMEX network. We provide innovative and customized transportation solutions to a wide range of clients in the kingdom in sectors such as IT, pharmaceuticals, fashion retail and the automotive industry. Through our improved trucking network, we have secured our position in the industry as the provider of choice for land freight in the kingdom offering secure, cost-efficient and timely delivery of domestic shipments.”

ARAMEX operates 26 offices and facilities throughout the Kingdom offering tailor made total transportation solutions to surpass the needs of its domestic customers.
