Twenty months after the launch of its Five Year Plan, Qatar's Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has embarked on projects worth QR8bn, said Zayed Mansoor Al Khayarin, Managing Director, Ashghal. According to the Peninsula, Al Khayarin declared that Ashghal will launch more important projects in the coming year. The total project cost of Five Year Plan is QR 31 bn.
Of the QR 8bn worth project, launched during the last 20 months, Qatari firms have bagged the 53 per cent of the total project value.
