British Airways said on Monday, May 14, it would raise the number of flights between Beirut and London from seven to nine as of June 5.
In a statement, BA said expectations of heavy tourist traffic prompted the additional flights. The airline carried some 60,000 passengers from Beirut last year. — (Reuters, Beirut)
