Bahrain’s Delmon Poultry’s sales drop by 8.4 percent

Bahrain’s Delmon Poultry Company (DPC) recorded an 8.4 percent drop in sales in the first half of 2002. Despite the losses, the company posted a 72.8 percent increase in gross profit, reaching 17 million Bahraini dinars ($45 million), derived from a 40 percent decrease in discounts. 

 

Based in Manama, the principal activities of DPC include establishing or investing in facilities for processing, packing and storing frozen chicken, feed factories and integrated projects for broiler meat. — (menareport.com)
